Roberto Boarini graduated with the highest score in Cello, Choir conducting, Composition, Orchestral conducting, with a specific degree in Music Teaching.

He also attended international courses and masterclasses held by M. Flaksman, K. Georgian, T. Campagnaro and has a particular interest for ancient and baroque music.

He regularly works with important orchestras in Italy and all over Europe. He also has an intense activity in chamber music, with Trio Sphera (piano trio) as well as with other ensembles.

Since 2001 he has been working on film scoring, in partnership with Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (Rome). He cooperated with well-known Italian actor Ascanio Celestini as a cello player and as a composer/arranger.

Mr. Boarini is extremely interested in Choral Music and has been conducting choral ensembles and larger choirs for the last 20 years.

He teachers cello at Liceo Musicale “Farnesina” in Rome.

He plays a 1916 cello by Italian luthier Carlo Colombo Bruno.
