Spanish violinist Pablo Vidal combines his pedagogical and concert schedule with increasingly intense activity in the direction of musical projects as General Manager of Diamond Artists, International Artists Management.
Currently, Pablo is professor of violin, chamber music and Coordinator String Department at Conservatorio de Vilagarcía (Spain) and keeps a busy agenda teaching masterclass and seminars in collaboration with institutions such as Deutsch Skandinavische Jugend Philharmonie in Berlin, the Grumo Festival and Music Academy International in Italy, Hawaii Performing Arts Festival in USA, Festival Inverno do Vale Veneto of the Federal University of Santa Maria in Brazil.
Pablo is Associate Artistic Director of Clasclas Festival, a new classical music festival in Spain, that had a succesful first edition in July 2018 and is preparing now its second edition.
Pablo was selected by Maestro Lorin Maazel as member of Castleton Orchestra, playing in Castleton Festival in USA several operas and symphonic productions and taking part in international tours under the baton of Maestro Maazel.
Also keeps collaborations with numerous orchestras such as the Irish Chamber Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of India, Philharmonisches Kammerorchester Berlin, German National Orchestra, Virtuosi Kirishima, Orkester Norden, Wiener Walzer Philharmonie, Dartington Festival Orchestra …. With which he toured Europe, China, USA, India, Oman and Canada, in important venues such as Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Konzerthaus Berlin, National Auditorium of Spain, Stadhalle Bayreuth, Philharmonie Berlin, Gewadhaus Leipzig, Newman Center Denver, Beijing Concert Hall , Royal Opera House Muscat, Shanghai Oriental Arts Center … playing with distinguish conductors as Kent Nagano, O. Kamu, F. Luisi, R. Payare, F. Layer, J. DePreist, D. Masson, G. Korsten, A. Fischer, E. Klas, Sakari P. Gomez Martinez … doing recordings for radio and television, as well as several CDs.
Active chamber musician, Pablo has played concerts in cities in Europe, USA, Canada, South Korea and Japan, at festivals as Casals, Castleton, Kuhmo, Great Mountains, Casalmaggiore, Savoonlina, Bayreuth, Las Vegas, Elverum, Kirishima, Portogruaro, Lake George, Orford, Dartington and Festival Groba, where he is also Project Manager and Artistical Advisor. He shared the stage with musicians as Yuval Gotlibovich, Alena Baeva, Yakov Kasman, Clara Jumi Kang, Julien Quentin, Kazuki Sawa, Anne Shih and principals of major orchestras as Goteborg Symponiker, Royal Concertgebouw, Orchestra de Sao Paulo, RAI Italy, Orchestra Comunidad de Valencia and NHK Tokyo
Pablo began playing the violin at age nine in La Coruna, his hometown, then he pursued his studies with Yuri Volgin in Madrid; Pierre Amoyal and Jean Jaquerod at the Conservatoire de Lausanne; Per Enoksson at the University of Goteborg where he was a member and played as concertmaster in various programs of the Swedish National Orchestra Academy obtaining his master in orchestral studies; and finally with Linda Wang at Denver University. He had the opportunity to receive advice and masterclass of musicians as L. Spierer, P. Zukerman, García Asensio, Midori, N. Znaider, R. Ricci, J. Rachlin, Ik Hwan Bae, Kantorow, P. Vernikov, M. Fried, A. Leon Ara and members of quartets such as the Tokyo, Vermeer, Amadeus, Israel …
