Alessandro Asciolla comes from a well-known musical family.
He graduated from the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome.
He performs actively as violin solo and as a chamber musician, in such ensembles as duos, trios, string quartet, quintet etc. with whom he performs concerts at important Italian and foreign concert associations.
He has also been a member of various instrumental ensembles with programs spanning from the classic to the contemporary repertoire, with whom he also performed some world premieres; among them the Camerata Strumentale Romana, with whom he has made numerous television recordings, and the International Chamber Ensemble.
He collaborated on numerous occasions with the Orchestra della Rai di Roma and with the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di S. Cecilia.
He has taught master level courses for performance practice, solo and orchestral repertoire.
After teaching violin at the conservatories in Campobasso, Latina, Reggio Calabria, Cagliari, Cosenza, and Avellino, he is currently a faculty member at the Conservatory in Frosinone.
