Svitlana Fiorito began her piano studies at the age of five and has had a versatile background in performance, accompanying, teaching and music education. She received Bachelor Degrees from Liatoshinsky Music College and Masters from National Academy of Arts, Kharkov, Ukraine. Her teachers were Valentina Klukina, Nikolay Dubinenko, Viktor Siryatsky, Igor Ryabov and Therese Dussout. Mrs. Fiorito has been teaching piano to children as young as 4 years old to College Students for 15 years. Svitlana was faculty member and visiting lecturer at the Liatoshinsky Music College, Ukraine and Greenwich Academy, Connecticut. Also, she worked as adjudicator in several national and international piano competitions and festivals. Mrs. Fiorito students has won more then one hundred awards at state, national and international competitions including Ettlingen International Competition for Young Pianists, Washington International Young Artist Competition in D.C., “Musica Classica” Music Festival in Spain, Honors Recital from Piano Teachers Congress of New York, Eastern Division Competition from MTNA, Connecticut International Young Artist Competition, Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition, American Protégé Competition, Renee B. Fisher Competition, Crescendo International Competition, Golden Key International Festival, Concert Festival in Manhattan and Young Pianist Competition of New Jersey. They have been invited to perform at the Kennedy Center for the Arts, U.S. State Department, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Arts Center, Merkin Hall, Symphony Space, Conventional Center in Dallas, TX and Historique du Bon Pasteur, Montreal, Canada. In addition, her students have performed with Tianjing Symphony Orchestra in China, Greenwich Symphony, Ridgefield Symphony, North Shore Symphony, Island Chamber, New Britain Virtuosi Orchestra and Plainfield Symphony Orchestras; on TV and Radio Stations.
